Vimal Kumar, a good friend and director at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) confirmed the news and said, “Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala) and second daughter (Anisha), they developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive.”

He also said that they got themselves isolated but after a week Prakash’s fever didn’t come down, so he was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru. While Prakash is recovering from the virus, reports of Deepika Padukone testing positive for coronavirus came on Tuesday. Meanwhile, neither Deepika nor her family members have issued any official statement yet.
