‘Ginny Wedss Sunny 2’ trailer out now: Avinash Tiwary to be seen in ‘rom-com avatar’ for first time

Actor Avinash Tiwary took the nation by storm in 2024, when his film ‘Laila Majnu’, earlier released in 2019 was re-released on August 9, 2024.

Social media algorithm was crashed by the songs and the scenes from the film, where the youth was completely smitten by Avinash and Triptii Dimri’s romance.

The ‘Bulbul’ actor will be returning to the theatres with ‘Ginny Wedss Sunny 2’, set to be released on April 24.

Avinash shared the trailer of the film on Instagram on Thursday and captioned, “The madness is back… and this time, it’s bigger, louder, and full on #BawaalFamilyEntertainer.”

The trailer hinted the audience to expect a light-hearted and chaotic love story added with some family drama.

Known to play intense roles earlier, Avinash has mostly been a part of action, thriller and horror films. After sharing the trailer, fans expressed excitement and anticipation.

While a user wrote, “Finally a breath of fresh air,” another comment read, “He nails each character he plays and I love itt.” Another user commented, “Will be the first one to watch it.”

The first instalment of the film was released in 2020, on Netflix, starring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles.

Produced by Vinod Bachchan and directed by Prasshant Jha, the film will feature Avinash and Medha Shankr in the lead roles.

The supporting cast will have Sudhir Pandey, Govind Namdev, Gopi Bhalla and Lilette Dubey.
