Riding high on the success of her latest big-ticket release, Runway 34, Aakanksha Singh is eagerly awaiting the release of her next highly-anticipated web series, Rangbaaz 3.
She reportedly portrays a character inspired by Hena Shahab, the wife of convicted gangster-turned-politician Mohammad Shahabuddin.
Speaking about her role, Aakanksha says, “Since I play a political character in the web series, I had to do extensive research by reading everything available on the subject. I also watched a few interviews, documentaries and videos before I started shooting for the show.The idea was not just to look like my character but also imbibe the character traits to make it look authentic on screen. Over all, working on Rangbaaz has been an interesting journey.”
