April 12 The Nevers on Disney+ Hotstar

In August, 1896, Victorian London was rocked to its foundations by a supernatural event which gave certain people – mostly women – abnormal abilities, from the wondrous to the disturbing. It fell on mysterious, quick-fisted widow Amalia True (Laura Donnelly) and brilliant young inventor Penance Adair (Ann Skelly) to protect and shelter these gifted orphans. To do so, they would have to face the brutal forces determined to annihilate their kind.

April 15 Bisaat- Khel Shatraanj Ka on MX Player

Dr Kiyana Verma’s (Sandeepa Dhar) life starts unravelling when she is the prime suspect in the brutal murder of pharma tycoon Yash Kapoor (Khalid Siddiqui), who happens to be her patient Radhika’s (Leena Jumani) husband. This web series is directed by Vikram Bhatt and also stars Satyadeep Mishra, Priya Mani Raj, Mrinal Dutt and Charu Shankar.

In this anthology, the four directors—Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan, and Kayoze Irani—bring together an ensemble cast to tell four riveting stories on human experiences. The movie seems to be a promising rollercoaster of emotions starring ace actors like Shefali Shah, Aditi Rao Hydari, Konkona Sen Sharma, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee and others.

A Black Lady Sketch Show is a narrative series set in a limitless magical reality full of dynamic, hilarious characters and celebrity guests. The show presents sketches performed by a core cast of black women, including Robin Thede, Ashley Nicole Black, Gabrielle Dennis and Quinta Brunson.
