Ajay Devgn is proud of his wife Kajol, as she has got an invitation to join the Oscars’ panel. The actor expressed his thoughts on Twitter and wrote, “Congratulations to @itsKajolD for being invited on #Oscars panel. Feeling ecstatic and incredibly proud. Also, congrats to all the other invitees.” The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on June 29 announced the new list of artistes and executives, who are invited to join the Oscar organisers’ membership ranks.

As many as 397 people have been invited by the Academy and Kajol is one of them. Apart from Kajol, filmmaker Reema Kagti, actor Suriya, artistes like Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas, are among the popular celebrities invited from India. Celebrities Ariana DeBose, Billie Eilish, Jamie Dornan and Troy Kotsur are also among them.

Talking about the Academy, celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, AR Rahman, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Ali Fazal, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Ekta Kapoor have been a part of the panel before. — TMS
