Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan's steamy kissing scene in 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' was so long that makers were in fix how much to retain

Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s had a steamy three-minute kissing scene in Zoya Akhtar’s film "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara". The firm also starred Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin and Ariadna Cabrol. It was a huge hit in 2011.

In the movie, Hrithik and Katrina’s chemistry was electrifying and so was the kissing scene.

However, it was new to the Hindi cinema as earlier kissing scenes were not featured but instead two flowers would be shown on camera and we would all understand what it meant as the two actors drew near.

It was in the 90s with the movie "Raja Hindustani", the kissing scene between Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor was most popular and longest on screen.

As per Bollywood Hungama report, it was a three-minute-long scene and the makers were initially confused how much scene to retain.

Zoya Akhtar, who made the film "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", had to edit it to shorten the screen time. Hrithik has largely avoided kissing on camera. However, he did with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Dhoom 3 and it had created quite a flutter.
