Actress Kangana Ranaut continues to be at the centre of a slugfest between her and some Bollywood actors over her drug abuse charges. But her latest remark on actress Urmila Matondkar has not gone down well with netizens.
In an interview to television channel Times Now, the Manikarnika actress called Matondkar a `soft porn’ star. Ranaut, who is caught in a bitter tussle with the Maharashtra government over investigations into the Sushant Singh Rajput case, made the comment while reacting to Matondkar’s criticism of her statement on MP, Jaya Bachchan in the parliament.
Matondkar had also alleged that Ranaut was indulging in such `antics’ to get a BJP ticket in elections. Hitting back Ranaut remarked that Matondkar was known for `soft porn’ roles in movies and accused her of defending the drug lobby.
However, this comment of Kangana did not go well with the netizens who have now lashed out at her. Most of them have tried pointing out to the trajectory of movies that Matondkar did back in the 90s while highlighting her achievements.
She touches a new low each day. Kangana should stop calling herself a feminist. https://t.co/QPEsO6tG5k

Just saw Urmila's interview where she actually calls Kangana a lovely actor and has good things to say about her work, while respectfully disagreeing with her views. Also talks about nepotism in the industry, her own middle class background etc. There seems no provocation!
