The youth should first know about the conflicts around them because without proper knowledge and awareness, sometimes we tend to voice wrong opinions and then a situation comes where we become more violent.

Biggest obstacle: Choosing violence to satisfy their egos.

Solution: When you are young, you should channelise your energy into something positive. We should also know how to control anger.

peaceful practice: I have resorted to gardening. I suggest people should bring nature home. Plants calm you down!

Non-violent path
Sneha Namanandi

Youngsters can help in maintaining peace by doing what’s right, following the path of non-violence, controlling their anger and creating awareness.

Biggest obstacle: Impulsive attitude and indecisiveness.

Solution: Focus on one thing at a time; multi-tasking is not always required especially if your goal is to bring about change.

peaceful practice: I don’t let negative comments on social media affect me. I focus on the good things and don’t care what the world is saying.
