'Operation Safed Sagar' teaser out

Netflix has dropped the teaser for its upcoming military drama Operation Safed Sagar, inspired by the Indian Air Force's historic role during the 1999 Kargil War. Starring Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Vermaand Mihir Ahuja

Set against the backdrop of the Kargil conflict, Operation Safed Sagar chronicles the Indian Air Force's daring high-altitude mission and follows the Golden Arrows Squadron as they undertake one of the most challenging aerial operations in military history.

The newly released teaser introduces Mihir Ahuja, Abhay Verma, and Taaruk Raina as young Air Force pilots preparing for combat. As they gear up for a dangerous mission in the skies, they are mentored by seasoned officers played by Siddharth and Jimmy Shergill, who lead them through the pressures and sacrifices of war.

Directed by Oni Sen and created by Abhijeet Singh Parmar and Kushal Srivastava, the series also features Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Adil Hussain, Arnav Bhasin, and Amrita Bagchi in key roles.

The first look at Operation Safed Sagar was unveiled earlier this year during Netflix's Next on Netflix showcase. The series revisits the 1999 IAF mission that became known as the world's highest air operation, highlighting the strategic decisions, intense pilot training, and the emotional toll of serving in one of India's most significant military campaigns.

Produced by Matchbox Shots and Feel Good Films, Operation Safed Sagar begins streaming on Netflix from August 7.
