Rupali tests Covid-positive

Rupali Ganguly, who plays female lead in popular TV show Anupamaa, has tested positive for Covid-19. The news broke on Friday and all fans of Anupama were in a shock as the show has been running high on TRPs. Confirming the news, producer Rajan Shahi issued a statement that read, “Rupali Ganguly has tested positive for Covid-19. She is asymptomatic and by the grace of God doing fine. Rupali is taking all the necessary precautions and is presently in home quarantine. I wish her a speedy recovery. We at DKP (Directors Kut Productions) are committed to the safety of our cast and crew. I have ensured that all guidelines are followed on the sets. The BMC is informed and the sets are fumigated as per the protocol.”

Ashish Mehrotra, who plays the character of Paritosh in Anupamaa, too was diagnosed with Covid-19 few days back.
