Shah Rukh Khan now owns his former Delhi home in its entirety after purchasing the two floors he did not previously own. The house holds special significance for Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. After marrying in 1991 through a civil registration, a Hindu ceremony and a Nikah, the couple began their married life in the Delhi home before Shah Rukh moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. The family now lives at Mannat, their iconic bungalow in Mumbai’s Bandra.

Gauri, who was born and raised in Delhi, has previously spoken about her desire to preserve the house as a repository of the family’s memories. She has described a dedicated “nostalgia wall” featuring keepsakes from each family member, including Aryan, Suhana and AbRam, alongside artwork and antiques collected by the couple over the years.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s “King”, an action thriller slated for release on December 24. The film also stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal and Jaideep Ahlawat.
