Sidharth Malhotra is currently soaking in the success of his recently released film Shershaah. The film has been appreciated by critics and audiences alike. The actor recently attended the 1st Himalayan Film Festival in Leh, where Shershaah was the opening film.

Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur was also in attendance. Sharing pictures on Instagram, the actor wrote, “Inaugurated the 1st Himalayan Film Festival with Shershaah today. It was a complete honour to have shared the stage with our honourable Union Minister for I & B, Mr Anurag Thakur. Thank you for having us.”

Sidharth essayed the role Captain Vikram Batra, who laid down his life in the service of the nation while recapturing Indian territories from Pakistani intruders during the Kargil War in 1999.
