While his fans, friends and well-wishers are still in shock, Sidharth Shukla’s family issued the first official statement after the actor’s demise on Monday. The Shukla family has requested everyone to allow them privacy to grieve. In the statement, Sidharth’s family even thanked the Mumbai police for their sensitivity and compassion.

The statement reads, “Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever! Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve.”

The death of a star ceases to be a personal tragedy, triggering a public outpouring of grief and emotions. PTI

It further read, “A special thank you to the Mumbai police force for their sensitivity and compassion. They have been like a shield, protecting us and standing by us every minute of the day. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Om Shanti — The Shukla Family.”

Meanwhile, actor Karanvir Bohra took to Instagram and divulged details about the prayer meeting organised by the Shukla Family. The actor informed that it took place on Monday, September 6, evening.
