Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma and his team have been busy with their ongoing international tour. Having performed in Toronto and Vancouver, the team was scheduled to wrap up their USA tour by the end of July and later perform in Australia on the first weekend of September. Going by this plan, The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) was supposed to return on TV beginning August, but things are not the same anymore.

If reports are to be believed, The Kapil Sharma Show has now been pushed to September because Kapil Sharma, along with his team, are facing a delay in their shows abroad. Thus, TKSS will be launched in September along with the singing competition show, Indian Idol 13. The makers earlier called of the last season due to the ongoing America and Canada tour.

According to a report in The Indian Express, a source close to the show informed the newspaper, "Kapil has his shows till the end of July in the USA and will also perform in Australia on the first weekend of September. Since a few shows were postponed, the team is figuring out if they will extend the tour or not. Also, with Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 all set to launch, the channel decided to push the show to September. Both, Kapil Sharma’s show and the new season of Indian Idol are much-anticipated by fans, and will hit television screens at the same time."

The show is expected to return to its original timeslot at 9.30 pm since The Indian Laughter Challenge will be wrapped up by then. Going by the reports, there is a discussion to get more actors on board, however, everything will be finalised when Kapil and his team, including Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Rajiv Thakur and Chandan Prabhak, will be back in Mumbai.

Kapil Sharma and his team had successful performances in Toronto and Vancouver. They were due to perform in New York, however, a few of shows had to be cancelled due to visa issues.

On the work front, Kapil Sharma is all set to showcase his acting skills on the big screen. He has already shot for a film by Nandita Das where he will be playing a food delivery man. There is Abbas Mustan’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, a romantic comedy starring Kapil Sharma as the mail lead opposite four actresses Elli Avram, Manjari Phadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi and Sai Lokur.
