Yet a recently published National Statistics Office (NSO) report reveals that the real story of women’s work is unfolding in the country’s unincorporated enterprises — the local grocery shops, tailoring units, food businesses, repair services, beauty parlours and many other micro-enterprises that keep the economy running.
