“While returning home, the driver of a school van, driving recklessly on our street, reversed the vehicle and hit my son. He fell to the ground, and the driver ran the vehicle over him,” the father alleged in his complaint, adding that the child suffered severe head and body injuries and was bleeding from the ears and mouth.

The child was rushed to Medanta Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Police said an FIR has been registered at Bhondsi police station against the van driver.
