The meeting, held at the MC office was attended by Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya, committee member Anoop Singh, Chief Engineer Vijay Dhaka, Chief Accounts Officer Vijay Singla, along with other officials. Some members joined virtually.

The approved projects focus on strengthening core civic infrastructure, including road construction and repairs, augmentation of water supply systems, expansion of sewerage networks, and improvement of stormwater drainage. Development of markets, environmental upgrades, and measures to tackle urban challenges such as waterlogging and pollution also form a key part of the plan.

Officials said the works will be carried out across both New and Old Gurugram. Key areas include road improvement projects in Sectors 47, 46, and 51, infrastructure upgrades in villages, and provision of basic amenities in newly developed colonies. Market areas such as Sectors 31 and 45 will also see beautification drives and improved parking facilities.

In addition, the civic body plans to procure anti-smog guns to curb air pollution, upgrade secondary waste collection centres, and strengthen drainage systems to prevent flooding during monsoon.

Mayor Raj Rani Malhotra said the corporation remains committed to balanced and sustainable development, adding that these projects will significantly enhance civic amenities for residents.

Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya stated that the proposals were prepared based on public needs and inputs from elected representatives, and assured that all works would be executed in a time-bound and quality-driven manner.

The projects are expected to improve traffic flow, sanitation, water supply, and overall urban infrastructure across the city.
