A man allegedly threatened to kill another person by brandishing a pistol following a minor dispute over car parking on Old Delhi Road on Friday morning. It is yet to be ascertained whether the pistol was real or fake. The police are investigating the matter. The accused is reportedly the son of a police inspector.

It is alleged that the accused threatened the victim in the middle of the road. When a crowd of passersby began to gather, he fled the scene.

An eyewitness recorded a video of the incident, which is now going viral on social media. The incident took place opposite the gaushala on Old Delhi Road.

The victim, identified as Rahul Tanwar, said his vehicle was parked by the roadside when the driver of another car parked nearby suddenly began reversing without checking. The two cars grazed each other due to negligent reversing. When Tanwar stepped out of his car and approached the other driver to speak to him, the latter started a quarrel.

Tanwar alleged that as soon as he approached the youth sitting in the driver’s seat, the latter began hurling abuses without even listening to him. When Tanwar objected to his rude behaviour and asked him to speak civilly, the accused lost his temper.

“He immediately unzipped a bag kept in his car, pulled out a pistol and threatened me right in the middle of the road,” Tanwar alleged.

The video clearly shows the accused youth brandishing a weapon over a trivial matter.

The police said they have not received any complaint in the matter so far.
