Kurukshetra, August 4

The Kurukshetra police have arrested another person for allegedly giving poison to cattle at a gaushala in Kurukshetra, just to earn some money by selling the skin of the dead cattle.

The accused has been identified as Ajay, a resident of Barara of Ambala. He was produced before a court on Wednesday that sent him to judicial custody.

DSP Ramdutt Nain said on December 2, last year, a complaint was received at the Thanesar Sadar police station regarding the death of cattle at agaushala in Bajidpur village.A case has been registered, said the police.
