10 injured in Jind road accident

KURUKSHETRA: Ten persons, including three children, sustained injuries after a car collided with an autorickshaw near Jind on Monday.

Ten persons, including three children, sustained injuries after a car collided with an autorickshaw near Jind on Monday.

According to information, five women were among the injured in the accident, that took place near Nirjan village. The injured were rushed to Jind civil hospital. None of them reportedly suffered serious injuries.

Police sources said a car hit the autorickshaw from the rear side and it overturned. Meanwhile, the driver of a bus of a private school negotiated a sharp turn and skidded off the road while avoiding hitting the autorickshaw. However, the students did not suffer any serious injuries.
