106 TB-free gram panchayats honoured in Kaithal
Out of these gram panchayats, 13 have been awarded with gold medals, while 36 with silver medals, and 57 with bronze medals
As many as 106 gram panchayats have been declared TB-free in the district. These gram panchayats have been honoured by Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Sushil Kumar, who while presiding over the programme, emphasized that the TB-free initiative is a vital step toward eliminating tuberculosis from the country. He said that the recognition aims to encourage village panchayats to actively contribute to this mission.
Out of these gram panchayats, 13 have been awarded with gold medals, while 36 with silver medals, and 57 with bronze medals.
During the programme, sarpanches of the honored gram panchayats also took an oath against female feticide, strengthening the district’s commitment to social reform alongside health initiatives. Civil Surgeon Dr. Renu Chawla and other officials were present on the occasion.
Badnara, Bhalang, Budhanpur Gujaran, Dadwana, Dumara, Harnaula, Jathehri, Kalasar, Kasoli, Manjhedi, Megha Majra, Munnarehri, Narwal Garh are among the panchayats which won gold medals.
Andhli, Chaba, Daba, Dera Gobind Singh Nagar, Dubbal, Duliyani, Duserpur, Farsh Majra, Fariyabad, Garhi Nazir, Ghogh, Guru Nanak Nagar, Hansu Majra, Kamhedi, Khambheda, Kharal, Kheri Matrwa, Kheri Sikandar, Mahmadpur, Majra Nandkaran, Majra Roheda, Malkhedi, Maingda, Pabla, Paprala, Patti Khoth, Rattakheda Kadam, Riwad Jangir, Rohediyan, Samana Malikpur, Sapan Kheri, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Theh Butana, Theh Mukeria, Umedpur, Wazir Nagar are among the panchayats which won silver medals.
Angodh, Ahmadpur, Arnauli, Ataila, Azimgarh, Badsikri Khurd, Badsui, Balu Rapdiya Patti, Baupur, Bhunsla, Brahmaniwala, Chanchak, Chandlana, Dandota, Dayodkheri, Dera Bazigar, Dherdu, Devigarh, Dharmpura, Dillonwali, Diwal, Dhundhwa, Dusain, Garhi Padla, Hemu Majra, Jadaula, Jaswanti, Kakarala Kunchia, Kakarala Anayat, Kalar Majra, Kasaur, Kheri Gulamali, Kheri Raiwali, Lalpur, Landaheri, Lander Pirzada, Magho Majri, Mandi Sadra, Mandwal, Mastgarh, Nagal, Nanakpura, Nandgarh, Papsar, Pisol, Polad, Prempura, Ramdaspura, Rattakheda Lukman, Saroula, Shyomajra, Shadipur, Shergarh, Sihali, Singh, Sultania Kartarpur, Tyontha are among panchayats which won bronze medals.
