12 plaints resolved at district meeting in Yamunanagar

Twelve complaints were resolved at a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee at the district secretariat, Jagadhri.
The meeting was chaired by Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi.
Fifteen complaints were placed in the meeting, of which Bedi resolved 12 on the spot. He directed the officers of the district administration to resolve the remaining three complaints by the next meeting.
Rajinder Singh of Gadhauli village complained that an SDO of Irrigation Department was unnecessarily getting soil lifted from the left side of Saraswati (Chaitang) river and placing it on the right side.
The minister ordered an inquiry under the chairmanship of the Jagadhri SDM, along with an officer of Irrigation Department and two members of Grievance Redressal Committee.
