15 swine flu cases in Hisar

Of 42 samples collected this month, 15 cases of swine flu have been detected in Hisar district. While eight patients are from Hisar district, seven are from outside.

According to the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme unit of the Civil Hospital in Hisar, of 289 samples collected last year, seven were found positive for swine flu.

Dr Tarun, Deputy Civil Surgeon of the hospital, has issued an advisory for people to be cautious while interacting with other people, avoid shaking hands and spitting in the open, and consult a doctor in case of fever.
