Chandigarh, June 21
The Haryana Government has received 19 proposals for setting up village-level soil testing project from four districts by local entrepreneurs under the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture.
Giving this information here on Thursday, an official spokesman said that the Government of India had introduced this concept of establishment of soil testing projects at the village level by local entrepreneurs under the soil health management component of the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture.
The proposals from the districts of Kaithal, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sonepat had been received. The scheme would be implemented on 60:40 sharing basis by the Centre and state government. — TNS
