The Nayab Singh Saini-led Haryana Government is gearing up to launch its automated revenue administration system next month, marking a significant leap toward paperless, citizen-centric governance.
Sumita Misra, Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management, on Friday chaired a high-level review meeting with Divisional Commissioners & Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to explain the reforms. She directed that 1,900 trained, tech-savvy patwaris be deployed across districts to leverage the state’’s digital infrastructure and usher in the new revenue system.
From Aadhaar integration of land records, updation of Lal Dora maps and accurate land demarcation through rovers to verification of digital data under AgriStack and speedy resolution of possession-related ‘Khana Kasht’ cases, the patwaris would be responsible for integrating physical data into the government’’s digital ecosystem.
