2.07 lakh people eligible to vote for Panchkula Municipal Corporation elections on May 10

1, 08,927 male and 98,447 female eligible to vote at 204 polling stations in 20 wards

A total of 2,07,379 voters are eligible to vote at 204 polling stations in the 20 wards of the Panchkula Municipal Corporation (MC) elections on May 10.

The Mayor’s post is unreserved while two wards have reserved for Scheduled Castes candidates, one for Scheduled Castes (Women), one for BC-A (Women), one for BC-B (Women), four for women and eleven are unreserved.

The total voters would include 1,08,927 male, 98,447 female, and 5 other voters.

Besides Panchkula MC, Ambala MC, Sonepat MC, Rewari Municipal Council, Uklana Municipal Committee, Sampla Municipal Committee, and Dharuhera Municipal Committee will go to the polls.

The State Election Commission, Haryana, has said under the Municipal General Elections 2026, elections will be conducted in a total of 144 wards across municipal corporations, municipal councils and municipal committees in the state.

An estimated 826 polling stations will be set up for the election process in the state. A total of 8, 70,925 voters will exercise their franchise, including 4, 53,047 male voters, 4, 17,841 female voters, and 37 voters from other categories.
