Sonepat, June 23
Three MBBS students were killed when the car they were travelling in caught fire after it collided with some heavy boulders kept in the middle of the Jhajjar-Meerut National Highway No. 324-B on Wednesday night.
Three other students, who were also in the car, suffered serious injuries in the accident and were admitted to the ICU at the PGIMS, Rohtak. The deceased were identified as Pulkit of Sector 1, Narnaul, Sandesh of Vijay Nagar in Rewari and Rohit of Sector 57, Gurugram.
Three students who suffered serious injuries were identified as Narvir Yadav of Silarpur of Narnaul, Somvir of Dubaldhan in Jhajjar district and Ankit Hooda of Khidwali of Rohtak district. All were 2019-20 batch students. Jai Singh, father of Rohit, in his complaint to Rai police, said Rohit, along with his friends Pulkit, Sandesh, Narvir, Somvir and Ankit Hooda ,had left for Haridwar on Wednesday night in an i-20 car.
