Faridabad: The police have registered a case in connection with suicide by a 34- year-old married man in a colony of Ballabgarh here. Claiming that the victim identified as Rohit Kumar, employed in private company, ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance on Sunday, his kin told the police that he took the extreme step in wake of blackmailing by accused identified as Manisha, a saleswoman working with financial firm in Delhi. Sandhya, wife of Rohit, was at her parents’ house when she received a call on July 2 from Manisha, who told her that she and Rohit were in a relationship. The victim is survived by his wife and an eight-year-old son. TNS
AAP to form booth-level panels
Ambala: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and convener, north Haryana, Chitra Sarwara, on Monday said that the party would conduct a survey and constitute booth-level committees in the state. Chitra said, “After the MC elections, the party has to focus on strengthening its base in Haryana. A meeting of zonal heads has been held and that of district units will be held soon,” Chitra added.
