5 friends returning from wedding die in accident in Haryana's Gohana
The victims were on the way to Jindran village in Rohtak district
Five friends were killed and three sustained serious injuries after a speeding Scorpio rammed into a tree on a connecting road from Bhawar village to Gharwal village in the Gohana area on Friday evening.
The victims were on the way to Jindran village in Rohtak district, after attending a wedding at Bhawar village. As they took the connecting road, their SUV rammed into a tree. The collision was intense and the Scorpio got badly damaged.
The deceased have been identified as Rohit, alias Golu (24), and Sagar (22) of Ghuskani village, Ankush (25), Deepak (25) and Sahil (27) of Khidwali village while two others Ankit and Mohit sustained serious injuries in the accident.
They were rushed to the Bhagat Phool Singh (BPS) Medical College for Women at Khanpur, where doctors declared Rohit, Sagar, Ankush, Deepak and Sahil dead. Following the information, the police reached the spot and began a probe into the matter.
The post-mortem examination of all five deceased was under way at BPS Medical College for Women at Khanpur on Saturday.
