Sushma Yadav, a 62-year-old Rewari home-maker, defied age norms by winning gold in Senior Masters’ 10-m pistol shooting at the 68th National Shooting Championship in New Delhi. She made history as Haryana’s first gold medallist in this category.

“Sushma’s achievement brings laurels to Haryana. She’s a skilled home-maker who proved age isn’t a barrier with determination and practice,” said her husband Anil Yadav.

Sushma, a state-level gold medallist, credited her coach Raman and family for her success.
