Chief Secretary Vijai Vardhan today said the state had submitted 96 per cent data of the staff working in the government health sector such as doctors, paramedical staff and about 51 per cent data of staff in private health sector to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for prioritising population groups for Covid-19 vaccination programme.
He further said 100 per cent data would be uploaded within a week. He said the state was fully prepared for the Covid vaccination programme.
Following which, a state-level steering committee, district task force and block task force have been constituted in the state as per the directions of the Centre.
Vardhan said this while attending a video-conference regarding the Covid status and vaccine programme chaired by Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba. The Chief Secretaries of all states and union territories also attended the video-conference.Vardhan said adequate resources were being made available for Covid vaccination across the state.
27 die; 1,604 cases
- With 1,604 fresh cases, the state Covid tally reached 2,34,126 on Monday. Also, 27 more deaths took the toll to 2,428
- Gurugram reported 494 cases, followed by Faridabad (338), Sonepat (110), Hisar (102) and Rohtak (88)
- Eight deaths were reported from Faridabad, followed by Gurugram, Hisar and Bhiwani (4 each)
