Reacting to AAP allegations that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP were "deliberately absent" from the commemorative events to mark 350th martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur in Anandpur Sahib recently, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today alleged that AAP was trying to create societal divisions through misleading propaganda, which he described as unfortunate.

Talking to reporters here, Saini asserted that Modi had taken several historic steps to honour Sikh traditions, the teachings of the Gurus, and their sacred sites. He cited key initiatives such as the safe return of three holy copies of the Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan and the construction of the Kartarpur Corridor as examples.
