‘Abducted’ girl rescued, 1 held


Faridabad, November 18

The police have rescued a 13-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted on Monday from the SGM Nagar in NIT here. One person has been arrested in this connection.

The police said the girl was seduced by the accused to accompany him, but was recovered on the basis of mobile phone location from the NIT area here. “A case under Section 363 and 366 of the IPC has been booked. The accused, identified by the complainant, has been nabbed,” a police official said. — TNS
