Consoling the family members, he said, “You should be proud of his martyrdom. The Police Department will always remember the martyr. A deputy superintendent of police (DSP) is the backbone of the Police Department and losing a DSP in such a manner is a big loss for it.”

Kurukshetra SP Surinder Singh Bhoria, Nuh DSP Anirudh Chauhan, Kurukshetra DSP (Headquarters) Subhash Singh and DSP Ramdutt Nain were also present on the occasion.

Interacting with slain DSP’s family members, senior police officials assured them of all possible help.

The financial assistance is given to the dependents under an agreement for accidental death insurance cover where the salary account is maintained with the HDFC bank.
