Ajay Tewatia elected president of Haryana Judges Association

Jhajjar District and Sessions Judge Ajay Tewatia has been elected president of the Haryana Judges Association (HJA). A total of 584 votes were cast to elect the president, out of these five were declared invalid. Of the 579 valid votes, Tewatia secured 327 votes, while Desh Raj Chalia, District and Sessions Judge, Bhiwani, received 252 votes.

Ambala Additional District and Sessions Judge Madhu Khanna Lalli was elected vice-president by a narrow margin. He received 291 votes against Puneet Limbha of Panipat, who received 288 votes. The post of secretary was won by Sher Singh, Civil Judge (Junior Division), Chandigarh, with 326 votes, while Amitendra Singh of Faridabad got 253 votes to his name.

Dr Mohd Imtiyaj Khan of Gurugram and Rajvinder Singh of Guhla secured the posts of joint secretary. Earlier, Rishab Aggarwal of Yamunanagar was elected treasurer unopposed, along with four executive members, Dr Prikshit, Sumit Kumar Saini, Deepali Singla and Munish.
