Anil Vij releases Rs 50 lakh for classrooms at Ambala school

Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij has released Rs 50 lakh from his discretionary fund for the construction of new classrooms at the Government Senior Secondary School in Rangia Mandi, Ambala Cantonment.

The minister said the school was facing a shortage of space for students, making it necessary to construct additional classrooms. The new rooms will help accommodate students more comfortably and are expected to benefit hundreds studying at the school.

According to officials, nearly 400 students are currently enrolled at the Government Senior Secondary School. Due to limited seating capacity, the construction of additional classrooms is expected to improve the learning environment and provide better facilities. Last year, Vij had also released Rs 1 crore for the renovation and upgrade of Government Senior Secondary Schools located on Rambagh Road and in BC Bazaar.
