Former Union Minister and president of the Haryana Janchetna Party (HJP) Venod Sharma today asked Congress MLA Induraj Narwal to either tender an apology or face legal action for his ‘baseless allegations” against him.

Talking to reporters, Sharma said the first-time MLA levelled personal “unsubstantiated allegations” against him without any evidence and the Congress miserly failed to restrain its legislator.

Narwal had alleged “sale of votes for money in the Rajya Sabha polls in which Sharma’s son Kartikeya Sharma was elected. “Instead of pointing fingers at others, the Congress should set its own house in order as one of its MLAs had shown his vote while other had ticked during the Rajya Sabha polls,” Sharma claimed.
