Bail plea of 8 accused of Dera violence in Panchkula rejected

PANCHKULA: A Panchkula court on Thursday rejected the bail plea of eight accused in connection with the Dera Sacha Sauda violence here in August last year.

Panchkula, May 17

A Panchkula court on Thursday rejected the bail plea of eight accused in connection with the Dera Sacha Sauda violence here in August last year.

They all were accused in FIR no. 345 in which Honeypreet Insan and Aditya Insan were also named as accused.

There was large-scale violence in the town after Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim was convicted in two rape cases last year.
