Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday said the government had been making efforts to improve the Bhavantar Bharpari Scheme. Quality check labs in all mandis will be set up and the produce, if there is no buyer, will be purchased on the average price calculated on the basis of four nearby mandis, instead of fixing the same price for all mandis across the state.
Before addressing the Bhavantar Bharpai Dhanyawad Rally in Naraingarh, the CM inaugurated and laid foundation stones of projects worth Rs 134 crore and announced to provide Rs 85 crore for the development of Naraingarh Assembly constituency.
He said poor people would get electricity at affordable rates in the state. The line loss has dropped from 35 per cent to 21 per cent and we aim to reduce it to 15 per cent, the benefit will be passed on to the people of the state.
Khattar said that special emphasis was being given to water management. The issue of Lakhwar dam has been resolved and apart from this, there are plans to construct nine small dams in the Chhachhrauli area, out of which two have been approved. Naraingarh, Kalka, Lohgarh, and Kalesar areas are being developed in terms of tourism.
He said the Congress in its 10-year of rule had made 6,500 CM announcements, while we have made 5,800 in four years, we will cross the 6,500 mark by the end of five-year tenure. Jobs are being given on merit and middlemen, including those on the fourth floor of the secretariat, will be sent behind the bars.
Without taking any name, he targeted former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and said “Those who used to dare that they are not afraid of any inquiry are now saying that the government is pursuing the vendetta politics. If this was the case, we would have done this four years ago.”
He also indirectly targeted MP Raj Kumar Saini, and said the balloon will burst soon.
Agriculture Minister OP Dhankar, MoS Nayab Singh Saini, MP Ratan Lal Kataria, and other leaders addressed the rally.
