Kurukshetra, June 7

BKU (Charuni) activists started a dharna on Ladwa Road in Shahabad on Wednesday against the arrest of union leaders.

BKU leader Rakesh Tikait reached Shahabad in support of the agitating farmers.

Gurnam Singh Charuni and several other union leaders were arrested on Tuesday evening for blocking NH 44.

Meanwhile, BKU (Charuni) chief Gurnam Singh and other eight union leaders were sent to judicial custody.
