Bodies found along rail tracks in Panipat

PANIPAT: A boy and a woman were found dead under suspicious circumstances near the Raj Nagar level crossing on here on Monday.

A boy and a woman were found dead under suspicious circumstances near the Raj Nagar level crossing on here on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Himanshu (16) and Aarti (21) of Sanjay Colony.

The GRP received information from railways officials about two bodies lying near the railway tracks.

Himanshu was a student of Class IX in a private school. Both were residing in the same street in Sanjay Colony and were related to each other.

Preliminary investigation revealed that both had left their homes by telling their parents that they were going to the market. The GRP initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC and kept the bodies in the mortuary for postmortem. — TNS
