AMBALA: Health Minister Anil Vij has issued orders to register an FIR against a pharma company for giving favour to PGIMS director who was later suspended.

Ambala, October 13

Health Minister Anil Vij has issued orders to register an FIR against a pharma company for giving favour to PGIMS director who was later suspended.

Talking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Vij said, “Orders have been issued to register an FIR against the company from which the director had taken favour as giving and accepting bribe are illegal. Besides this, orders have also been issued to present a report regarding the foreign visits of the doctors of the Health Department and the Medical Education Department in recent years and explain whether they were on trips on personal expenses or were sponsored by any medical company.”

Vij also criticised Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu for his remarks in context with South India.

Vij said, “Ever since Sidhu has returned from the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he has been praising Pakistan. Even today, he has said that the language and food of Pakistan are better and he can’t understand the language of South India. He doesn’t like India anymore. If he finds the ‘aatankistan’ (Pakistan) and its language of bullet better than he must shift to Pakistan instead of staying in India as a Pakistani agent and praising it. It would be better if he goes to Pakistan.” — TNS
