Two motorcycle-borne miscreants fired at Neeraj Malik, brother of Balvinder Malik, former PA of Randeep Singh Surjewala, here on Tuesday night.
He was taken to a private hospital, where he was operated upon. According to hospital sources, he received a bullet injury in the foot and was stable. The Civil Lines police registered a case. Surjewala paid a visit to the victim in hospital. He demanded arrest of those involved.
A bank probationary officer residing here, Neeraj stopped his car near the gate of his house and opened it. As he walked to his car, two miscreants fired at him. The police have started investigation.
