Rohtak: Clerk dismissed from service for misconduct

Rohtak Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has ordered the immediate dismissal of Komal, a suspended clerk, from government service with immediate effect in public interest after an inquiry found him guilty of forging and tampering with medical certificates, habitual and willful absence from duty, repeated misbehaviour and insubordination towards colleagues and superior officers, said a press note issued here on Wednesday.

An Additional Deputy Commissioner was appointed as the inquiry officer for the departmental investigation. Based on oral and documentary evidence, including verification of medical records from the PGIMS, Rohtak, the inquiry report confirmed the allegations of forging andtampering with medical certificates and absenteeism from duty.

The accused was given sufficient opportunity to present his side but the response received after the final show-cause notice was unsatisfactory, said the press note.
