Held under the directions of Municipal Commissioner Mahabir Parsad, the primary objective of the initiative was to increase awareness about cleanliness and encourage the reuse of waste material.

During the programme, students created attractive and useful objects from waste materials such as plastic bottles, old tires, papers and other junk. These artefacts were used to decorate the park and convey the message of environmental protection as well as demonstrate that wasteful items could be made useful through creativity.

Sanitation Inspector Bittu Singh, Swachh Bharat Mission expert Durgesh Kumar and Ek Soch Nai Soch founder Shashi Gupta cheered the students on during the activity. They encouraged students to actively participate in Swachh Survekshan-2025 and called on them to make the “twin cities” number one in cleanliness.

Sanitation Inspector Bittu Singh explained that proper management and reuse of household waste could not only reduce pollution but also make the environment cleaner and healthier. At the end of the programme, the organisation distributed juice, coconut water, water bottles and gifts to the students.
