“Several establishments, including Kandhra Kitchen, Rinku Fast Food, Grill Master, Saini Sweets, Pal Mishthan Bhandar, Chandigarh Cake and Baker, Sahni De Special Naan, and Bikaner Sweet House, were inspected. During the inspection, it was found that coal, wood, diesel furnaces and commercial LPG cylinders were being used by all these establishments,” said Kumar.

The team instructed the operators of the establishments concerned to use only commercial LPG cylinders in future and to ensure compliance with all necessary safety regulations.

“We have issued strict instructions that domestic LPG cylinders should not be used for commercial purposes under any circumstances. Doing so not only violates regulations but also increases the risk of accidents,” he said, adding that if the domestic LPG cylinders were found in use at any establishment in future, strict legal action would be taken against the operator as per the rules.

The Vyaspur SDM said the district administration would continue to conduct such inspection drives to ensure consumer safety and maintain transparency in the LPG distribution system. He appealed to all commercial establishment operators to follow the rules and use only authorised and safe means.
