Raising concerns over the rapidly worsening LPG crisis in the nation, Aam Aadmi Party national media incharge Anurag Dhanda on Tuesday slammed the BJP-led Central Government and Haryana Government. “The situation has become so severe that in many states the supply of commercial LPG cylinders has been stopped. People are being forced to wait 20 to 25 days for domestic cylinder bookings. The burden of this negligence by the government is being directly borne by the common people,” said Dhanda.

Referring to the state’s woes, Dhanda said supply of commercial LPG cylinders had nearly come to a standstill in cities such as Rohtak, Kaithal, Sirsa, Ambala, Panipat and Karnal. He said reports suggested that only three to four days of gas stock remained in Rohtak and its nearby areas, while hotel and dhaba operators in several districts were being forced to use wood and coal stoves.
