Gurgaon, April 12

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar yesterday inaugurated the Sikanderpur flyover and a section of the Cyber City Metro station underpass.

Work on the 740 metre flyover, a part of the Rs 600 crore joint venture project between the DLF and the HUDA, started in 2012.

The flyover, which will carry traffic in only one direction, is part of the 16-lane expressway project. The flyover starts at the Guru Dronacharya Metro station on the MG Road and opens at the sector road near Phase-II Rapid Metro station, leading to the Cyber City and the National Highway (NH)-8.

Officials said the flyover would reduce the travel time.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the W Hospital by Pratiksha, dedicated especially to women. The hospital has announced that it would provide free IVF treatment to 100 women from the poor sections of society.
