Faridabad, November 24

The police have stepped up the drive against violators not wearing masks in public places. Challans have been issued to 5,761 persons in the past three days for not wearing masks and a penalty of Rs 28 lakh has been imposed.

Ambala: The district administration on Tuesday challaned at least 100 persons for not wearing masks. Teams of the Health Department and civic bodies caught violators in busy markets and challaned them.

At the Jaggi City Centre, the officials caught some Punjabi film stars shooting without permission and issued them challans for not wearing mask. — TNS
