Cyber fraud: 2 more held for duping man of Rs 1 lakh in Palwal

The Cyber cell of the district police have nabbed two more persons for cheating a Palwal resident of Rs 1 lakh in October this year. Four accused have already been arrested in this regard.

Inspector Naveen Kumar said the accused, Arpit and Ali Ahmed, had taken the amount from the victim on pretext of providing him handsome profit through a fake investment plan. They had asked the complainant, Gaurav Rawat, to transfer the amount in separate instalments of Rs 50,000. They two accused had been taken on two days’ police remand for further interrogation in the alleged racket, said the official.
